Ms. Hayter's practice focuses on defenseof personal injury litigation, premises liability, defense ofgovernmental entities, bad faith tort litigation, and insurancecoverage issues. Ms Hayter practices in both State and FederalCourts.

General Security Indemnity Company of Arizona v. Mountain States Mutual Casualty Company. 205 P.3d 529 (Colo. App. 2009)

Ms. Hayter has received the honor of being selected as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America an invitation-only trial lawyer honorary society consisting of less than one half percent of American Lawyers.

Before moving to Colorado, Ms. Hayter served as staff counsel for American International Group (AIG), where Ms. Hayter specialized in handling litigation for the member companies of American International Group, her clients including corporations, municipalities, and individuals. She specialized in Insurance Defense and General Negligence and maintained a case load of 50 plus cases. She practiced in both State and Federal Courts. She presented cases to private binding arbitration. Ms. Hayter presented approximately thirty (30) arbitrations per year under private contract and mandatory programs. She conducted over 100 Examinations under Oath including but not limited to cases involving auto theft, fire loss, personal injury, and questionable medical claims and providers, from 1996 through 1999.

While serving as a Captain in the U.S.Army JAG Corps, Ms. Hayter served as Trial Counsel and Administrativeand Civil Law Attorney and Legal Assistance Attorney for one of thelargest military communities in Europe. Ms. Hayter also served as TrialCounsel during Desert Shield/Storm for one of the largest jurisdictionsin Europe. Ms. Hayter's military awards include the U.S. ArmyCommendation Medal with two oak leaf clusters, the U. S. ArmyAchievement Medal and The National Defense Medal.

Ms. Hayter is associated with variouslegal organizations within the state of Colorado such as the ColoradoDefense Lawyers Association, El Paso County Bar Association, Litigation Counsel of America, Defense Research Institute, FederalBar Association and The Faculty of Federal Advocates.

Ms. Hayter is licensed to practice law inthe states of Colorado, Hawaii and Nebraska and practices in both Stateand Federal Courts.
